I am excited to share that Brooklyn's Community Board 2 has sent two letters to DOE, Comptroller Stringer and the Chancellor.
The first endorses the NYC Healthy School Food platform to bring scratch-cooked meals, nutrition education gardens and longer lunch times to all children in public school across New York City. The second letter requests Comptroller Stringer to audit the time children actually have for lunch (pasting that below). This is a great honor and really encouraging to our mission and our journey.
